Michael Dunn is the Head of Institutional Insurance for MassMutual’s Institutional Solutions business. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the bank-owned life insurance (BOLI) and corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) businesses. His more than 25 years of experience includes distribution relationship management and leading the sales, customer service and new business operations for both the BOLI and COLI products. Prior to joining MassMutual in 2005, he held a variety of leadership roles at CIGNA/Connecticut General Life Insurance Company. Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Mathematics and German from Hamilton College and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut in Finance and International Business.
John is a Sales Consultant in the Institutional Insurance Division of MassMutual, with sales responsibilities in the Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) and Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI) markets. He works closely with producers and their staff to design and implement customized solutions to address client needs.
John has over 13 years of insurance experience in life, long-term care and property/casualty product lines. He previously worked at John Hancock and Homesite where he held various roles including sales, marketing and account management with a particular focus on bank and wirehouse institutional clients.
John graduated from St. Lawrence University with degrees in Government and History.
Michael provides the highest level of sales support and relationship management to top producer groups, brokers and individual producers promoting sales of MassMutual's institutional life products, designed for employer and institutional markets with the most important, challenging relationships and prospects. Michael Specializes in Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) and serves as a resource to MassMutual clients, prospects and partners. Prior to this role, he was a Wealth Advisor for 11 years at Key Private Bank, UBS and LPL Financial where he specialized in individual portfolio management and insurance solutions.
Prior to being a wealth advisor, Michael was an assistant vice president at John Hancock as a top life and LTC insurance producer for over 5 years.
Michael holds a Master’s of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) from Bentley University. He has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation from the CFP Board of Standards; carries FINRA Series 7, Series 63 and Series 65 (lapsed) in addition to life, accident and health insurance licenses.
Kevin is an Institutional Life Insurance Sales Consultant in the Institutional Insurance Division of MassMutual. He provides case design, product information, and new business processing assistance to MassMutual’s Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) Distribution Partners.
Kevin has over 4 years of insurance experience, having worked previously at John Hancock. His roles have included Internal Sales Support for the New York/ New Jersey Region, as well as National Sales Support providing product and new business support in the retail and COLI insurance spaces. Prior to that Kevin was a General Practice Attorney for Stopa & Associates focusing predominantly in Civil Litigation.
Kevin has a JD from New England School of Law, as well as a BA in History from SUNY Fredonia. He also has his NASD Series 6 and 63 designations.
Adam Tolpin is a sales consultant for the Institutional Insurance Division of MassMutual and is responsible for working with producers that sell our BOLI and COLI products. His job functions includes educating producers on product features and underwriting requirements, case consultation, plan design, providing illustrations and relationship management.
Adam has over 20 years of service and sales experience of executive benefits BOLI & COLI products. Prior to joining MassMutual in 2002, he worked at John Hancock Financial and New England Life in various executive benefit roles.
Adam has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Southeastern Massachusetts University. He is a Certified Life Underwriter, Fellow, Life Management Institute and holds NASD series 6, 7 & 24 designations.
